Beginning September 28, we will have a two-phase renovation project happening in the main circulation area and the adult collection. The plans include new carpet, new furniture, and increasing the number of public computers available. This is all in an effort to give our patrons and community a clean, beautiful space to enjoy our spectacular library services, but in order to do it, we will have to temporarily restrict access to some areas.

The adult collection and computer area will be unavailable to patrons from Monday, September 28 through at least Thursday, October 14. Then, the main circulation area will be unavailable from October 14 through at least October 23. However, we are hopeful that there will only be one day that all sections of the library will need to be closed. While the adult area is being worked on, we will limit the interruption to your services. We will still be receiving patron holds from other libraries, the children and young adult collections and areas will still be open, and we will take returns. While the circulation desk and offices are being worked on, we will have the adult and youth sections open through alternative doors.

We will do our best to keep the community updated, and hope to receive everyone for an open house and rededication in early November.
