Friends of the New Carlisle Public Library
Spring Book Sale

The Friends of the New Carlisle Public Library will hold a book sale starting on March 1, 2021 through at least April 3, 2021. The book sale will be open during regular library hours, which are Monday through Thursday 9:30 a.m. through 8:30 p.m., Friday 9:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m., and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Patrons will be asked to follow the mandated guidelines for Covid-19 to minimize virus transmission.  Patrons must wear a mask while in the library and practice social distancing.  A maximum of three individuals from different households will be allowed in the meeting room where the sale is being held at a time. If a family with more than three individuals want to visit the sale a larger group is allowed; however, they will need to be in the meeting room by themselves.

Patrons are asked to select as much material as they want for a donation.  Due to an anonymous donor, all books for children are completely free from March 26 - April 3, 2021.

In addition, as material is sold, new material will replace the items that are sold.  Therefore, new materials will be added throughout the month.  Patrons should plan on multiple visits to see the latest books, CDs, and DVDs.

If patrons have not recently renewed their Friends of the Library memberships, they can renew at any time during the sale.
